1921 was the final year the Morgan design was struck, brought back for one last run after a 17-year gap in silver dollar production so the Mint could replace millions of dollars melted under the 1918 Pittman Act -- and it was the only year Denver ever struck a Morgan dollar at all. That single-year status makes this the sole Morgan dollar representing the Denver Mint in the entire series.
