1895-O Morgan Dollar (1878-1921)

Intriguing History

1895 is one of the most debated years in the entire Morgan dollar series, since no business-strike dollars are believed to have been struck at Philadelphia that year, leaving collectors reliant on this New Orleans issue and its San Francisco counterpart to represent circulating 1895 Morgan dollars at all.
